Discovery Alaska Limited ("the Company") is an Australian public company that is focused on mineral exploration activities in the USA, which resulted in the granting of 308 mining claims in Alaska, being the Chulitna Project, in February 2021.
In December 2023, the Company relinquished 284 mining claims within the project and reduced the project area to 15.5km2 (24 claims) centred on the Partin Creek gold prospect.
In January 2024, the Company announced that it has executed a binding mining lease agreement with Doyon, Limited for the Vinasale Gold Project in Alaska, USA, comprising ~6,500 hectares which is located ~310km northwest of Anchorage and ~26km south of McGrath.
The mining lease agreement will allow the Company to conduct mineral exploration, mineral development and produdction activities at the Project, subject to terms and conditions of the agreement.
